“LMEd is now choosing to laser focus on expanding lifestyle medicine curricula in U.S. medical schools through offering open access to a collection of evidence-based curricular resources to train future clinicians in prevention and treatment of lifestyle-related diseases. ” The website offers slides, videos, case studies, and recorded webinars to expand lifestyle medicine education in medical school curriculum.

“Bench to Bedside: Integrating Sex and Gender to Improve Human Health Course” (Link Here)

Created by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research on Women’s Health (OWH) for health professionals and students to learn about sex and gender-related disease differences. This free course offers 6 hours of content, which you can request for CME credits. All you have to do is create a free account. Areas of focus include Immunology, Cardiovascular Disease, Pulmonary Disease, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Mental Health.

American College of Lifestyle Medicine (Link Here):

Organization whose mission is to prevent, treat and reverse non-communicable chronic disease through advancing evidence-based lifestyle medicine and education of health professionals. Offers continuing education for food as medicine, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, mindfulness, and more.

“A non-profit professional education, research, and advocacy organization” with the mission to “Reduce lifestyle-related death and disease in society through clinician-directed interventions with patients.”
